Much to our surprise, none of the available themes are automotive-based. Instead, customers can choose from travel landscapes, animals, and abstract shapes. A few of the landscape and animal themes are pictured below and are licensed from famous photographers. Audi will even offer seasonal themes such as the Christmas tree snow globe and Santa Claus ones pictured below. In cars equipped with the Ambient Light Package plus, the in-vehicle lights will automatically change to pair with the selected theme.

Audi says it will add movie characters, sports, and other themes in the near future. A Darth Vader theme with red ambient lighting might be cool. We also suggest some automotive-related themes that highlight the history of quattro and the Audi brand. We’d also love to see Audi offer retro themes for the Virtual Cockpit gauge display, allowing customers to transform their new car into a classic model. If the new Mustang can have Fox Body gauges on its digital display, why can’t Audi do something similar?
