Toyota’s Gazoo division is about so much more than straight-line speed, and this report claims we can look forward to upgraded brakes, firmer suspension, and improved body rigidity. Like the model on which it would be based, power would be channeled to all four wheels.

Of course, Toyota hasn’t even hinted at the GR Crown, so we have no teasers or spy shots to work with, but in-house tuners Gazoo Racing and Modellista have already released styling upgrades for the Crown, with sporty body kits previewing a potential GR Crown.

Toyota would have to make the high-performance Crown stand out from the crowd, so spoilers, flics, big wheels, and a smattering of carbon fiber would be likely.
